Beana Baby Wraps: Simple Instructions

1. Fold the carrier in half lengthwise

2. Place the sling evenly across your body front to back with opening facing your neck

3. Tie a tight knot right above your hip (this will hold the child; so do this carefully)

Now that you have the wrap on; here are some simple instructions on how to carry your child in a variety of positions.

.:: Hold Me ::.
This hold will provide privacy for nursing.

1. Separate the pouch which is at your chest level

2. Place the child with its head toward your shoulder as you were cradling the child

3. Make certain the fabric comes all the way around the child to hold them securely

.:: Cuddle Me ::.

1. You can also try a variation of the last one by placing the child in the open pouch ; facing outward

2. Adjust baby’s legs into a crossed position or comfy sit

3. Pull the excess material upward towards baby’s face; baby will settle into this one

.:: Along for the Ride ::.
For children with stable necks only.

1. Open your pouch and place child’s legs thru the bottom

2. Place bottom edge under child’s tush

3. Child will rest on your hip with one leg to each side

** Once you are advanced you can convert this to a back version by shifting baby to your back

1. Twist the pouch around at your shoulder making an extra tight fit

2. Place baby’s tush in the pouch and legs thru carrier (facing you)

3. Baby should be nestled very close with head resting on your chest or shoulder area

Start with sling un-tied

1. Nestle baby in your chest as you were burping them

2. Rest one end on your opposite shoulder and bring the other around your back and across baby

3. Tie the two ends at your shoulder area (again make sure this knot is secure)
